Mettupalayam-Coonoor-Ooty

Coonoor is on the corner of the Nilgiri plateau and is about 6000 meters altitude. Coonoor is the terminus for the Nilgiri last 8 years. The government expansion Coonoor to Ootacamund and the line was operational from September 15, 1908. This line is widely used and many people can now travel easily through it.
