I do not like a magazine at home, but I always do when I travel. Although a million pictures and I think I′ll remember everything, I can not. But I have a fun way to document my experience and help to remember much of small things that really special holiday.
Before going on my trip I buy a few things to prepare. I want to use a sketch pad so that no line and work on paper is a little thicker. I also selected several colored markers (with a peak write small) and clear tape. I mainly scrap book as I go. If someone had tripped me walking into a restaurant, I could write on a napkin that has taken shape and paste it in my diary that day. My magazines tend to be truly random bits of information instead of a letter addressed to me how my day was and what I feel. It seems a little more interesting and it is nearly as long.
The key is that you check every day, so you do not forget something special or go back. Every night before bed, I wanted to write essentially what we did and things interesting or funny happened. I pasted in a booklet many blankets and dried flowers and more. This method worked for me and I cherish all the books that I brought from around the world.
